M State Baseball Loads Up on Runs in Win

Rochester, MN-

The Minnesota State Fergus Falls baseball team loaded up on runs to bury Schenectady County Community College in an 11-1 five-inning affair as they wrapped up their spring trip.  With the win, the Spartans move their record to 3-2 on the young season.

Jay Zimmerman threw 4 innings of good baseball, surrendering only one hit and three walks to lead M State from the mound.  Jarrett Werner came on in relief in the fifth inning, striking out two and keeping the scoresheet clean.   Ryan Aarhus paced M State at the plate, picking up three hits and scoring three runs while Jakob Bradsteen tallied four RBI's on the day.
