The Central Lakes Raider softball team picked up a split Wednesday, March 15th while competing on their spring break trip in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The Raiders fell to Rend Lake College 10-2 in their opening match-up but rebounded to earn a win over SUNY Adirondack, 4-2 in the afternoon game.
Andrea Wagoner and Kaye Smude both collected 2 hits apiece in the loss to Rend Lake, while Demi Stockman, Megan Brockway and Lizzie Richards all had 2 basehits each in the win over SUNY Adirondack. Kayla Larson faced 27 batters against SUNY, scattering 6 hits and only surrendering one earned run. Andrea Wagoner picked up the loss vs. Rend Lake, despite not walking a batter and striking out two hitters.
