Rochester, MN-

Several volleyball and football teams in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference have picked up some mid-season recognition from the National Junior College Athletic Association in recent polls.

In NJCAA Division III volleyball, Central Lakes College (14-1)  continues their run as the nation's No.1 team, their third week in the top spot.   A surging Rochester Community & Technical College (11-4) team has moved into #6 while M State-Fergus Falls (11-6) stays in the top 10 at #9.  For the complete NJCAA poll, please visit: http://njcaa.org/sports/wvball/2018-19/div3/polls

The most recent NJCAA Football Top 20 poll features a pair of MCAC teams making their second appearance on list in as many weeks.  Mesabi Range College (4-0) outlasted a previously-undefeated Fond du Lac Tribal & Community College team on Saturday, 30-26, and moved up to #17 in the country, while North Dakota State College of Science beat Minnesota West 28-7 to remain unbeaten at 4-0.   NDSCS is currently in the 'Receiving Votes' category in the Top 20 poll, available at: http://www.njcaa.org/sports/fball/polls

At 4-0, both the Norsemen and the Wildcats are among only nine teams still without a loss in the NJCAA football ranks.
