Two football programs in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference will have new mentors on the gridiron sideline when the season kicks off this fall.
Northland Community & Technical College, located in Thief River Falls and the Fergus Fall campus of Minnesota State Community & Technical College have announced new head coaches at their respective schools.
The Pioneers will be led by Jeremy Richardson, who served most recently at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas. Prior to his appointment as the assistant athletic director at Trinity Valley, Richardson had coaching stops along the way at Texas College in Tyler Texas as well as Joliet (IL) Junior College. M State-Fergus Falls welcomes Cory Miller to campus as the new head coach of the Spartans. Miller comes to Fergus Falls from Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota where he was the assistant head coach and defensive coordinator. He also has coached at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. Miller hails from Marshalltown, Iowa and has earned both his Bachelor's degree in psychology (University of Northern Iowa) and Master's degree in Business Administration (Rockford University).
