Pioneers Mourn the Loss of Ethan Bryan
Winona, MN-

Former Northland Community & Technical College wrestling student-athlete Ethan Bryan passed away on Monday, July 22 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Augusta, Georgia.

Bryan was a Northland Pioneer during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 academic years; as a key member of the wrestling program, he helped lead Northland to runner-up finishes in both MCAC seasons.  His funeral is this Saturday in Evans, Georgia.  Bryan was a US Army veteran and was planning on entering law enforcement.

NCTC wrestling coach Scott DCamp noted that: "Ethan was the first wrestler from Georgia to attend Northland and he started a tradition that has been continued by several others from the Augusta, Georgia area. He was a great teammate, whose positive energy helped the team become a family."
