The football team at Minnesota West Community & Technical College heads in the home strech of the regular season at 3-2 overall and with a 1-1 mark in the MCAC Western Division. Veteran head coach Jeff Linder has his team playing well at an important time of the year and poised to compete for post-season opportunities.
Several individual student-athletes at MnWest have had strong season so far, picking up several Athlete-of-the-Week honors this fall. Recently, the United States Marine Corps stopped by campus in Worthington for a special presentation of the MCAC Athlete-of-the-Week awards for Blue Jay football.
