A recently-surging Ridgewater College baseball team took two important Central Division contests from Central Lakes College over the week of April 23-29.   A key part of that success was a multi-faceted performance from Archy Olson, a sophomore who served as the designated hitter for the Warriors against CLC in both contests. 

Olson, from St. Louis Park, went a perfect 3-for-3, including a double, in the opener against the Raiders, which the Warriors won, 19-8.  He accounted for two runs batted in and scored two more runs himself.  In game two, Olson was 2-for-4 and scored a run in the 7-2 Ridgewater triumph.   While serving as the DH, Olson stole a base in each contest.

With the sweep, Ridgewater moves into the second spot in the MCAC Central; they face a pair of important doubleheaders against Minnesota State and Northland Community and Technical College on May 3rd and May 5th.
