MCAC State / Region XIII Baseball Tournament  Action

The NJCAA Region XIII and Minnesota College Athletic Conference baseball tournament continues today, Friday May 17 in St. Cloud, Minnesota.  

At noon, Rochester Community & Techncial College will face Northland Community & Technical College on Dick Putz field.   RCTC picked up wins over Itasca, 14-5 and Rainy River 6-5, while NCTC dispatched Riverland (4-3) and Hibbing (6-4) yesterday, ending the season for RCC and HCC.  The loser of the noon RCTC v. NCTC contest will conclude their season; the winner will face the loser of Century / St. Cloud 3pm match-up today.   Overall results and remaining scheduled games are as follows.

Wednesday, May 16

Game 1: 4pm: Century College def. Hibbing CC,  16-3 (5 innings)

Game 2: 4pm: Rainy River CC  def. Northland CTC,  6-4

Game 3: 7pm: St. Cloud Technical & Community College def. Itasca,  12-9

Game 4: 7pm:  Riverland CC def. Rochester CTC,  10-7

 

Thursday, May 17

Game 6: 1pm: Northland CTC def. Hibbing CC, 6-4

Game 8: 1pm:  Rochester CTC def. Itasca 14-5

Game 5: 4pm: Century College def. Rainy River CC, 6-5

Game 7: 4pm:  St. Cloud Technical & Community College def. Riverland  6 Riverland 0

Game 9: 7pm:  Northland CTC def. Riverland CC,  4-3

Game 10: 7pm:  Rochester def. Rainy River Community College 6-5 (13 innings)
