Ahead of today's championship game(s) to decide the champion of the 2019 NJCAA Region XIII Division III Baseball tournament, the Minnesota College Athletic Conference baseball All-State Team has been named.

The 2019 MCAC Baseball All-State Team is comprised of the top six vote-receiving nominees from each Division as selected by Conference coaches. The 18-man team is as follows:

Will Funk St. Cloud Technical & Community College Funk produced an impressive .475 batting average in 123 plate appearances in 2019. The Sauk Centre, Minnesota sophomore brought a balanced offensive game SCTCC as he had 41 runs batted in and 41 runs scored, while also stealing 19 bases. He knocked six home runs in 33 games and drew 12 walks for the Cyclones. |

Lukas Adelman Vermilion Community College Adelman, a sophomre from Clinton-Graceville, hit .367 in 106 plate appearances for the Ironmen. Adelman had 23 RBI for Vermilion and scored 17 times himself. He stole five bases and had two home runs on the year. |

Yadiel Ortiz Riverland Community College Ortiz collected an amazing 60 runs batted in over 43 games for the Blue Devis. Ortiz hit .381 on the year, had three home runs and scored 23 runs himself. On the mound, Ortiz had six wins in seven starts, with three complete games to his credit. |

Luis Massa St. Cloud Technical & Community College Massa hit .442 with six home runs and 48 RBI's for the Cyclone offense this season. Massa stole seven bases and scored 42 times in the 2019 regular season; he collected 14 doubles and a triple among his 42 hits. The SCTCC standout sported a .800 slugging percentage. |

Evan Jerome Hibbing Community College Jerome scored 28 runs for the Cardinals in 33 games in 2019. Jerome batted .313 with three home runs and 23 RBI. He also stole nine bases. As a pitcher, he won two games and made eight appearances this spring. |

Jake Hansen Anoka-Ramsey Community College Hanson led his team in at-bats at 104 for the 2019 season. His time at the plate was well spent, hitting for a .377 average and a .596 slugging percentage. Hansen hit four home runs and 13 doubles. On the mound, the Golden Ram registered three wins and a save in nearly 50 innings of work. |

Jake Dykhoff Minnesota State Community & Technical College Dykhoff was a force on the mound and at the plate for the Spartans. Dykoff registered nine wins for M State, including a perfect game. He went the distance four times in 2019 and averaged 13.2 K's a contest. Offensively, he posted a .380 average, with four homers and 31 RBI. |

John Baker Itasca Community College Baker, a sophomore at Itasca from Grand Rapids, Minnesota, hit .349 in 129 at bats over 41 games in 2019. Baker drew 16 walks and scored 34 Viking runs; he also stole five bases and had 15 RBI. He had a .465 slugging percentage on the year for ICC. |

Javier Ramos Riverland Community College Ramos was an offensive force for the Blue Devils, hitting for a .420 average with ten home runs and 48 RBI. The Fajardo, Puerto Rico product collected 86 total bases for the Blue Devils, second-most in the MCAC in 2019. He registered a .768 slugging percentage. |

Alan Pietila Central Lakes College Pietela was a two-way threat for the Raiders, excelling at the plate and on the mound. Pietila notched a pair of pitching wins in six appearances, including two complete games. At the plate, the Raider hit .460 in 124 at-bats, scoring 45 runs and collecting 24 RBI. He also stole 30 bases for CLC. |

Ray Santacruz Hibbing Community College Santacruz drove in 29 runs in the 2019 season for the Cardinals, who claimed the Division championship in the North. Santacruz hit for an impressive .412 average in 114 plate appearances. He racked up 11 doubles and a pair of home runs |

Jeremiah Van De Steeg Rochester Community & Techncial College Van De Steeg, a sophomore at Rochester Community & Technical College from Hutchingson, Minnesota, led the Southern Division in wins, with seven "W"s this year. The Yellowjacket pitcher had seven complete games, two shutouts and tossed over 52 innings for RCTC. His Divisional ERA was 2.30. |

Matt Pietsch Minnesota State Community & Technical College Pietsch hit for .421 average with an impressive 50 RBI as the resurgent Spartans put together an impressive 2019 season. Pietsch registered a .591 slugging percentage at the play and had four stolen bases on the year. |

Braydon Borg Hibbing Community College Borg started seven games this spring for the Cardinals and registered five wins on the year. He tossed four complete games and earned a shutout while averaging 9.22 strike-outs per game. Borg held opponents to a .186 batting average on the days he took the mound. |

Kevin Brandt Western Technical College The Cavalier sophomore hit .369 this year with three home runs; he also stole seven bases in 22 games played. Brandt collected 36 total bases for the Cavaliers. |

Logan Aleshire St. Cloud Technical & Community College Aleshire drove in 40 runs for SCTCC, batting .383 for the season with five home runs. Aleshire scored 25 times for the Cyclones, who swept through Division play unbeaten on the year. He also was a force on the mound, including a complete-game 10-1 win over RCTC in the Region tournament in an elimination game. |

Brandon Holbert Rainy River Community College Holbert hit for a .404 average this season at Rainy River Community College; he drew 29 walks and scored 21 times for the Voyaguers in 2019. His slugging percentage was an impressive .551 and Holbert rang up eight doubles and a triple for his squad. |

Tucker Sorenson Minnesota West Community & Technical College The Worthington, Minnesota product stole 16 bases for the Blue Jays this season, along with collecting a .337 batting average at the plate. Sorenson also racked up four wins on the mound in ten pitching appearances for MnWest. |
