MCAC Football Moves Four Teams on to Semi-Finals

Four teams advance and four squads hang up the cleats for the year, with the first round of the MCAC football postseason in the books. 

 Central Lakes College defeated Fond du Lac Tribal & Community College 42-22 in Brainerd to advance to the semi-finals. 

Northland CTC beat Minnesota West 35-28 in Thief River Falls, to also advance to the semi-final round. 

One of top games on the afternoon featured battle between Mesabi Range College and Itasca Community College; the MRC Norsemen defeated the ICC Vikings, 20-14 in Mt. Iron. 

The in-state rivalry match-up of NDSCS and Dakota-Bottineau was a one-sided affair, with the Wildcats running away to a 41-15 win over the 'Jacks. 

 

The Sunday, November 4 MCAC semi-final contest sites, game times and live-stream information on shall be announced Monday, October 29.  

Semi-final winners shall advance to the MCAC State Championship Game, held on Sunday, November 11 at Husky Stadium on the campus of St. Cloud State University. 

The MCAC State Championship Game will be a Noon kickoff, with live-stream coverage availalbe through SchooSpaceMedia.
