MCAC Football Semi-Finals Set for Sunday, 11/4

On Sunday, November 4, the four remaining teams in the hunt for the MCAC State Championship in football will square off for the right to move on to the title game. 

North Dakota State College of Science, currently ranked No. 18 in the NJCAA Top 20 poll, will head to Brainerd, Minnesota to take on (RV) Central Lakes College while (RV) Mesabi Range College will trek to Thief River Falls to play Northland Community & Technical College. 

Both contests are set for a 1:30pm kickoff.   All four top seeds were successful defending home turf in the first round of playoffs on Sunday October 28; NCTC beat MnWest 35-28, Central Lakes defeated FDLTCC, 42-22,  NDSCS handled Dakota College-Bottineau 41-15 and Mesabi Range outlasted Itasca, 20-14.

The winners of Saturday's semi-finals will advance to play in the MCAC State Championship Game in St. Cloud, Minnesota on the campus of St. Cloud State University.  Kickoff is set for noon at Husky Stadium.
