Norseman Grabs National Player-of-the-Week Honors

Mesabi Range College defensive back Darryl Munoz has been tabbed the NJCAA Football Defensive Player-of-the-Week for the week ending Sunday, October 28.

Munoz and his Norsemen teammates were able to pull away from Itasca Community College - thanks in part to his interception return for a touchdown - in a 20-14 MCAC playoff win over the Vikings.

MRC will travel to Thief River Falls this Sunday, November 4 to take on the high-powered offense of Northland Community & Technical College, in a rematch of last year's MCAC State Championship game.
