Northland CTC, NDSCS Move on to State Championship Game

Northland Community & Technical College and North Dakota State College of Science both advanced to the MCAC State Championship game, on the strength of two semifinal wins on Sunday, November 4.

In Brainerd, the No. 18 NDSCS Wildcats found the road to their liking, as they overcame a 12-7 halftime deficit to pull away from CLC for a 35-15 victory.

NCTC hosted (rv) Mesabi Range College and put the game to rest early, routing the Norse 53-7 in Thief River Falls.  Northland took a 34-0 lead into the lockerroom at the break.

The MCAC State Championship will take place Sunday, November 11 at St. Cloud State University and Husky Stadium.  Kickoff is set for noon and the contest will be live-streamed by School Space Media.  Northland and NDSCS met earlier this season, with the Pioneers taking a 14-7 victory, the only loss suffered by the Wildcats so far in 2018.

On Monday, live-stream links, preferred hotel provider information and more Championship game information will be available on www.MCACSPORTS.org
