The sixth week of the 2019 football season in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference has produced the following MCAC Football Athletes-of-the-Week.   Adidas, the United States Marine Corps and Nicklasson Athletic Company sponsor the MCAC Athlete-of-the-Week awards, and proudly honor the following student-athletes for their performances this past week on behalf of their teams.

The Performance:

 Anthony Boyd had the highest MCAC output of any quartback this season, throwing for an amazing 458 yards... Boyd had four passing touchdowns on the day.. he also ran for 99 yards, with a longest rush of 30 yards for the Thunder...

Defensive lineman Onterial Carter racked up 10 tackles for Vermilion in a hard-fought 20-6 loss to #18 Mesabi Range...he also forced a Norsemen fumble on the day...

The Performance: 

 Rayshaad Roddy racked up three sacks for a total of 32 yards behind the Yellowjacket line of scrimmage... he also forced a fumble and had a pass break-up...Roddy had nine total tackles for FDLTCC

The Performance:

In a close game decided by field position, RCTC punter Dakota Lane played an important role in the Yellowjacket 36-27 win...Lane cracked five kicks on the day for RCTC...his longest boot was a 43 yard effort...
