Rochester Basketball Moves Up in Poll

Rochester, Mn- 

The men's basketball team at Rochester Community & Technical College moved up one spot in the current NJCAA Division III top ten poll, as announced on January 23.  RCTC clocks in at the #9 slot for the poll based on contests played during the week ending on Sunday, January 21. 

The Yellowjackets currently have a 4-0 mark in the Southern Division of the Minnesota College Athletic Conference and sit an impressive 15-2 overall.  Rochester is tied with Anoka-Ramsey Community College for the current lead within the MCAC Southern Division; ARCC and Rochester will face off on Saturday, January 27 in Rochester.  Both teams will need to find success in their mid-week contests to go into the January 27 showdown unbeaten.  Anoka-Ramsey travels to Minnesota West CTC on Wednesday, January 24 to take on the Blue Jays in Worthington while #9 Rochester will be on the road at Fergus Falls to face Minnesota State on the same evening.
