The first full week of competition in men's basketball around the Minnesota College Athletic Conference has yielded the first Athletes-of-the-Week of the 2019-20 campaign.
Adidas, the United States Marine Corps and Nicklasson Athletic Company sponsor the MCAC Athlete-of-the-Week awards, and proudly honor the following student-athletes for their performances this past week on behalf of their teams.

The Performance: Shaquoy Ferrol hit for 40 points in the Voyaguers opening contest of 2019-20, as well as chipping in five assists and nine rebounds in a loss to United Tribes... Ferrol followed up with a 27 point, 12 rebound effort in a RRCC win over NJCAA II Bismarck State... for the week, the wing from Okeechobee, FL had 67 points, 21 rebounds, 12 assists and six steals. |

The Performance: Terrell Smith hit for 54 points in the Blue Devils three opening games, all Riverland wins... Smith was 50% from 3-point range, hitting 10 of 20 attempts for the week... the sophomore from Minneapolis, MN also hauled in 7 rebounds over the week
