MCAC golfers tee off today at national tourney

Rochester, Mn--

On Tuesday, June 6th, thetop NJCAA Division III golfers in the nation are set to compete in the 2017 national championship tournament.  Among those present include the Region XIII champion M-State Fergus Fall golf team, as well as individual MCAC standouts Nick Moe (Mesabi Range College) and Ben Abrahamson (Hibbing Community College).   All parties have tee times today as the first round of the competition gets underway. 

Picturesque Chautauqa Golf Club in upstate New York serves as the setting for the competition, with Jamestown Community College acting as the host school.  The national championships will run from today through June 9th as the MCAC student-athletes and their counterparts traverse the challenging 36-hole course.
