Golden Ram Men's Soccer 2018 Preview
Veteran Anoka-Ramsey Community College coach Brady Hicks leads his Golden Rams into the 2018 MCAC men's soccer season this week and ARCC will be looking to build on a solid 2017 campaign.   Anoka-Ramsey will open the fall season with a pair of non-conference games this weekend - Allen County Community College on Friday, 8/24 and Marshalltown CC on Sunday, 8/26 - before starting MCAC slate with a important match against Lake Superior College on Monday, August 27.

Coach Hicks on Defensive Expectations for Anoka-Ramsey in 2018: 

"We've brought in an almost entirely new back four but our expectations are very high. We're very pleased with our recruiting class and think we'll hit the ground running."

 

Coach Hicks on Offensive Expectations for ARCC  in the 2018 season: 

"We will score goals this year. Our incoming players are a great mix of international players and local players and the standard is high. Again, we will need them to adapt quickly to college soccer but there is no doubt the quality is there."

 

Coach Hicks on Overall Team Expectations of 2018 season for the Golden Rams:

"We're looking to pick up where we left off last year. After a strong finish to the season we are hopeful that we can start off on the right foot and compete on a national level."
