Coming off a week in which she earned MCAC and national NJCAA weekly honors, one could understand if Anoka-Ramsey Community College softball pitcher Quincy Gross took her foot off the gas pedal.

Fortunately for the ARCC squad, she didn't. 

The hurler highlighted a 3-1 week for Anoka by winning both her games, including a 4-1 victory over #3 ranked St. Cloud Technical and Community College.  In the course of 14 innings pitched, Gross held opponents to a measly .137 batting average and struck out 22 batters.  In addition to her triumph over the Cyclones, the Columbia Heights, Mn. product also led Anoka to a 4-1 win over Minnesota West CC on Saturday, April 15th. 

Anoka Ramsey hosts Ridgewater on Monday, April 17th and the jv squad from MIAC power, University of St. Thomas on Wednesday, April 19th.
