The Players-of-the-Week in women's basketball in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference have been selected for the week ending on Sunday, November 12th.

 Northern Division Player-of-the-Week:

Weekly Highlights: 
Emily Anderson helped lead the Northland Community & Technical College Pioneers to 2-0 record to open up the 2017-18 campaign.  The sophomore from Middle River, Minnesota collected 38 points in wins over Lake Region State College and Dakota College-Bottineau, while dishing out six assists. Anderson was 8-of-15 from behind the three point line and was 13-of-26 overall from the fields.  Additionally, she was perfect from the free throw line,  going 4-for-4 on the week.  Northland next faces M State Fergus Falls on Wednesday, November 15th.

Weekly Highlights: 
Lady Jay basketball student-athlete Katherin Ihnen helped lead Minnesota West CTC to a pair of wins to open up the 2017-18 season against the JV teams of Dordt College and Northwestern College.  Ihnen scored 32 points and had 13 rebounds in the first match-up against Northwestern.  The sophomore from Round Lake also added a steal while shooting 15-of-25 from the field.    Against Dordt, she scored 14 points and had nine rebounds with two assists and one steal.   Ihnen averaged 23 points and 11 rebounds over the course of the week.  The Lady Jays are back in action on Saturday, when they travel to Iowa Lakes Community College.
