NJCAA Women's Basketball Poll Features Two MCAC Teams

Rochester, MN-

The most recent season women's basketball poll in the NJCAA has two Minnesota College Athletic Conference programs among it's top five in the nation. 

Northland Community & Technical College and Rochester Community & Technical College landed #4 and #5 respectively according to the NJCAA website. 

Coach Shannon Nelson's Pioneer squad is 5-2 on the season while facing several NJCAA Division II teams along the way.  The Pioneers are led in scoring by Megan Swedberg at 16.7 points per game and teammate Janie Wunderlich is averaging 4.5 assists per outing. Steve Huecke's Yellowjackets are 5-0 so far in 2017-18; Grace Riley chips in 18.0 points per contest while Olivia Haug is grabbing over 13 rebounds a game.
