Three MCAC Women's Basketball Teams in Latest Poll

Rochester, MN-

The sixth edition of the NJCAA Division III Women's Basketball Top 10 poll features three squads from the Minnesota College Athletic Conference, up by one team from last week's rankings.  

Northland Community & Technical College continues to hold down the #3 spot in the national poll.   The Pioneers have started MCAC North play in strong fashion, handing Itasca Community College a 78-49 defeat to start their Divisional schedule. NCTC is 1-0 in the MCAC North and 11-3 overall. 

Rochester Community & Technical College broke into the Top 10 this week at #10 with a pair of MCAC Southern Division wins; RCTC beat St. Cloud Technical & Community College 70-56 and Western Technical College, 90-51 over the past week.  The Yellowjackets are 11-4 overall so far on the season. 

Hibbing Community College is in the "Receiving Votes" category of the 1/17/18 NJCAA poll.  The Cardinals are 1-1 in the MCAC North, falling to Rainy River 71-66 and beating Mesabi Range College 68-47 to open Divisional action.   HCC punches in with a 11-4 overall mark for the 2018-19 campaign.
