The Minnesota College Athletic Conference has named two standout student-athletes in women's basketball as the Players-of-the-Week for the week ending Sunday, February 11.
Kaylee Porisch was a force on the boards and on the scoreboard for Anoka-Ramsey Community College, earning Southern Division honors. In the Northern Division, Megan Aho, a sophomore guard put up balanced stats in almost every possible category for Mesabi Range College as they put together a 2-0 week.

Freshman Center |
Kaylee Porisch, a freshman center at Anoka-Ramsey Community College was dominant in the paint, on the boards and scored almost at will in a pair of important Conference wins. Her strong week has earned her Southern Division Player-of-the-Week honors. Against Riverland Community College, Porisch hit for 28 points in 36 minutes of action. She grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked six Blue Devils shots in the 86-60 ARCC victory. On Saturday against M State, Porisch was again active defensively, blocking five Spartan shots and grabbing an impressive 22 rebounds. Porisch scored 29 points, going 10-of-28 from the field, hitting a pair of three point buckets and hitting seven free throws. Anoka-Ramsey heads into this week with games on the road at St. Cloud Technical and Community College on Wednesday and a showdown with Division-leading Minnesota West on Saturday, in Worthington. |

Sophomore Guard |
Megan Aho, a sophomore guard at Mesabi Range College put together a balanced all-around performance as the floor general for the week of February 11 and has earned the Northern Division Player-of-the-Week honors in the process. Aho had an impressive 16 steals across a pair of games against Itasca Community College and Central Lakes College. Additionally, she dished out 13 assists and grabbed 18 total rebounds. Aho also chipped in 15 points and 16 points respectively, in both wins for MRC. The Lady Norse will head into a pair of important MCAC contests against Hibbing Community College and Rainy River Community College this week as they pursue a spot in the NJCAA Region XIII B playoffs. |
