MCAC All-Defensive Team and Region Tournament Standouts Named

Rochester, Mn-

The Minnesota College Athletic Conference  2018 All-Defensive Team has been named in women's basektball, following the conclusion of the 2017-18 season and just ahead of the NJCAA All-America honors which will be named later this month. 

Student-athletes named to the All-Defensive team were nominated by their head coach and earned their honor based on performance in areas such as rebounding, steals, and other non-offensive statistics. 

Additionally, the Region Tournament MVP's for Region XIIIA and XIIIB and Coach of the Years are as follows: 

 

Region XIIIB Most Valuable Player: Megan Swedberg, Northland CTC 

Region XIIIB Coach-of-the-Year: Shannon Nelson, Northland CTC 

Region XIIIA Most Valuable Player:   Nautika Kotero, Rochester CTC 

Region XIIIA Coach-of-the-Year:   Steve Hucke, Rochester CTC
