Women's Basketball Game Times, Locations Set

Game time details for the women's NJCAA Region XIIIA and XIIIB tournaments have been established by the host institutions.

The Region XIIIA women's basketball tournament will be hosted by No. 1 seed Western Technical College on Saturday, March 2 and Sunday,  March 3.  Games will be played at Viterbo University in La Crosse, click here for information and directions to Viterbo.  The website for Western Technical College is: https://www.westerntc.edu/

Region XIIIA games will be held at 1pm and 3pm Saturday with top seed Western Tech playing the #4 seed at 1pm and No. 2 Anoka-Ramsey taking on the #3 seed at 3pm.  Final Southern Division seeds for the final two participants, Rochester CTC and Minnesota West, upon conclusion of tomorrow's RCTC-M State match-up.   The championship contest for Region XIII semi-final winners will be Sunday, 1pm at Viterbo in La Crosse.

Northen Division teams competing in the Region XIIIB tournament will travel to Hibbing Community College, who will serve as the host for the four-team regional.  No. 1 Hibbing and No. 2 Northland finished the season with identical 15-1 records and wins over each other in Conference play.  The Cardinals success with a coin flip allowed for them to host and to serve as the No. 1 seed.  The Pioneers and the Cardinals will be joined by No. 3 Central Lakes College and No. 4 Rainy River Community College.  Games times and match-ups are a 1pm tip-off between Hibbing and Rainy River, followed by a 3pm Northland vs. Central Lakes contest. Winners will meet in at 1pm Region XIIIB championship game at Hibbing.
