MCAC Women's Basketball Players-of-the-Week

Women's basketball Player-of-the-Week have been named for the week ending Sunday, February 24. 

MCAC Northern Division 

Player-of-the-Week

Lillee Hardee

Brainerd, MN

 

Lillee Hardee, a freshman at Central Lakes College, has earned MCAC Northern Division Player-of-the-Week for the final week of the regular season. 

Hardee contributed 39 total point in a pair of Division wins while also dishing 13 assists to her Raider teammates.  She hauled in 10 rebounds, tallied four blocks and had two steals overall.

The freshman from Brainerd hit two important three-pointers to help seal a win over Rainy River as CLC clinched the #3 seed in the playoffs. She has had four consecutive games with 15 or more points in the past two weeks. 

Central Lakes will join host Hibbing Community College, Northland Community & Technical College and Rainy River for the 2018-19 NJCAA Region XIIIB women's basketball tournament March 2-3 in Hibbing, Minnesota.

Player-of-the-Week

 

Lexie Ramsey

Minnesota West CTC student-athlete Lexie Ramsey has been tabbed Player-of-the-Week for her role in a pair of imporant late-season wins for the LadyJays.    

Ramsey, a freshman guard from Rock Rapids, Iowa logged 67 minutes in a wins over RCTC and Ridgewater last week.  She notched nine steals between the two games, hauled in nine rebounds along with four assists. She also collected 33 points for MnWest on the week. 

Minnesota West will join host Western Technical College, Anoka-Ramsey Community College and RCTC for the 2018-19 NJCAA Region XIIIA women's basketball tournament March 2-3 at Viterbo University in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.
