MCAC Women's Basketball Southern Division Selections

Rochester, MN-

In the Minnesota College Athletic Conference, women's basketball teams in the Southern Division found themselves chasing Western Technical College in the title race for the regular season championship.  In the end, top honors went undefeated WTC, while Anoka-Ramsey Community College stood alone in second place, claiming the No. 2 seed in the Region XIIIA tournament.  Minnesota West CTC found themselves in a tie with Rochester Community & Technical College when RCTC defeated M State-Fergus Falls in a weather-delayed final regular season game. The LadyJays won the coin toss between the two teams, resulting in a No. 3 seed for MnWest and No. 4 seed for Rochester heading into post-season   M State-Fergus Falls, St. Cloud Technical & Community College and Ridgewater College  will all look to rebuild for a run at the 2019-2020 campaign.  Coach-of-the-Year voting reflected a collective tip of the hat to the unbeaten Division champion Cavaliers; Chad Dull of Western Technical College claimed COY in the Southern Division for 2018-19.
