Notable Performances from around the MCAC:

Northland Community & Technical College heavyweight wrestler Andre Baguma  in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference for his recent performance for the Pioneers.

Baguma placed fifth in a loaded heavyweight bracket at the prestigious Bison Open. The freshman from Fargo, North Dakota picked up wins over Vince Ebanks and Devin Reynolds of fellow MCAC program Itasca Community College and defeated Brady Gilliland-Daniel of Arizona State University.   His two losses both came at the hands of four-year college opponents;  Sam Erckenbrack of Minnesota State University Moorhead by 4-1 decison and Daniel Stibral of North Dakota State University by disqualification.
