Rochester Community & Technical College freshman Morgen Moreno (Hayfield, MN) has earned his second consecutive Wrestler-of-the-Week in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference. 

Moreno earned a 3-0 record with three pins winning the Husky Open at St. Cloud State University in the 197 weight class.   Moreno opened up his day by pinning Gabe Anderson of the University of Mary in 2:13. In his second match, Moreno pinned Jonathan Zarnke of Augsburg College in 4:50. In the championship match,  Moreno earned a first period pin victory over Noah Ryan of St. Cloud State for the win. With his success, Moreno also took home the pinning award for greatest number of falls in the least amount of time at the event. 

RCTC Wrestling is off for the rest of 2018; they will open up the New Year on Friday, January 4 in Louisville, Kentucky at the NWCA National Duals.
