Rochester Community & Technical College freshman Seth Brossard continued his outstanding season recently and has earned the MCAC Wrestler-of-the-Week for his performance. 

Brossard dealt losses to several ranked, NCAA opponents in the Elite Division of the Luther Open, where he eventually claimed third place honors.

The Performance: 

Seth Brossard went 3-1 in the ELITE 165 at the Luther Open in route to 3rd place with two pins and a major.
 
In Brossard's first match of the day, the Yellowjacket pinned Logan Saltou of Minnesota State-Mankato, a NCAA Division II National Qualifier currently ranked #8 in the NCAA ranks.

Champ. Round 2 - Seth Brossard (Rochester Community & Tech. College) won by fall over Logan Saltou (Minnesota State Mankato) (Fall 4:50)

Quarterfinal - Seth Brossard (Rochester Community & Tech. College) won by major decision over Ryan Vedner (Wisconsin-Whitewater) (Maj 14-5)

Semifinal - Max Forsyth (Wartburg) won by decison over Seth Brossard (Rochester Community & Tech. College) (Dec 8-2)

3rd Place Match - Seth Brossard (Rochester Community & Tech. College) won by fall over Joaquin Bautista (Wartburg) (Fall 3:49)
