Golden Rams,  IceHawks Double Up on Soccer Championship

Lake Superior College defeated Rochester Community & Technical College, 3-1 on Thursday to advance to the Region XIII Women's Soccer Championship, while the IceHawk men's soccer soccer team had similar success the day prior in a 2-0 win over Riverland Community College.

The two wins set up a double-header affair for the Region XIII soccer championships at top seeded Anoka-Ramsey Community College on Sunday, October 21.  The Golden Ram men's team dispatched first-year program Minnesota West CTC on Wednesday at home to secure their place in the finals.

Lake Superior will take on ARCC in both men's and women's soccer on Sunday, October 21 in Coon Rapids.   Kickoff is set for 11:30am for the women's contest, followed by the men's game at 2pm as all four teams chase the NJCAA Region XIII hardware.
