Northland Athlete Earns National Honor

Rochester, MN-

Northland Community & Technical College volleyball athlete Carly Mekash was selected as the NJCAA Division III Volleyball National Player-of-the-Week for offense.  

Mekash led the Pioneers to a win over MCAC foe and nationally-ranked St. Cloud Technical & Community College, as well as wins over Itasca Community College and Rainy River Community College. NCTC swept by 3-0 scorelines in each of their matches. 

Northland (9-2 overall / 1-1 Northern) climbed into this week's top ten poll, released yesterday and availalbe at: http://njcaa.org/sports/wvball/2018-19/div3/polls
