Raiders, Yellowjackets Conclude Season Tomorrow

Rochester, MN-

The volleyball teams of Rochester Community & Technical College and Central Lakes College will end their 2018 seasons in the same way it started; playing against each other.

The Raiders and Yellowjackets were among the first matches of the 2018 Minnesota College Athletic Conference season at the MCAC Crossover at St. Cloud Technical & Community College in August, a five-match gem won by Central Lakes, 3-2 (25-23, 15-25, 25-20, 25-22, 13-15).

Tomorrow the two teams will tangle again as they battle for the third place hardware at the 2018 NJCAA Division III National Championships.   Day two of the tournament was unkind to both MCAC teams; Central Lakes was upended by No. 3 Eastfield (the 2017 National Champions) while Rochester CTC was moved out of contention by Owens Community College.  The fight for MCAC bragging rights and the third place trophy will start at 4pm on campus at RCTC.
