The 2019 volleyball campaign is in full swing in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference and the Week Five MCAC Athletes-of-the-Week have been named. 

Adidas, the United States Marine Corps and Nicklasson Athletic Company sponsor the MCAC Athlete-of-the-Week awards, and proudly honor the following student-athletes for their performances this past week on behalf of their teams.

Pioneer outside hitter Jane Wunderlich had 22 Kills over the last weekend... she also tallied nine service aces for Northland, who went 2-0 for the weekend in MCAC North play...

The Performance:

Sydney Berg helped Central Lakes to a 2-0 MCAC North weekend... the sophomore from Little Falls played in nine sets registering 28 kills and only 7 errors 69 attempts...in the two matches, Berg hit .304%, had 3.11 kills/set; collected 3 aces and contributed 5 blocks and 3 digs.

The Performance: 

Madisen Overbye turned in a a solid perfromance for Mesabi Range this past week ...  Overbye was a defensive stallwart collecting 28 digs (2.88 Avg.), 3 blocks (.38 Avg.), and 6 aces (.75 Avg.)... vs. Central Lakes Overbye had 13 digs, 2 blocks and 3 aces.

The Performance:

In MCAC Southern Division play against Anoka-Ramsey the sophomore from St. Charles had 31 set assists, four digs, four ace serves... in a match vs. nationally-ranked St. Cloud Technical & Community College, McCready had 31 set assits, eight digs... for the week, McCready tallied 62 set assists, 10.3 assists per set, four ace serves, 12 digs, two digs per set for the top-ranked Yellowjacket squad...
