Rochester, MN-
The Minnesota College Athletic Conference has named the MCAC Spring Elite '18 Team, which consists of the top performing student-athletes which excel both in the classroom as well as on the fields and courts of competition.
A new conference initiative for the 2017-18 academic year, MCAC Elite Teams are comprised of student-athletes who were named to an All-Academic team during their sport season and earned distinction as an All-Division, All-Conference, All-State or NJCAA All-America honors in their respective sport(s). Each Elite team is designated by the year and semester in which the majority of the competitive season took place.
The 2018 MCAC Elite Team is sponsored by the United Heroes League. The United Heroes League seeks to keep military kids healthy and active through sports while their parents are serving the nation. The United Heroes League is headquartered in Hastings, Minnesota and offers several opportunities for colleges, businesses, organizations and individuals to help support their cause.
For the spring of 2018, MCAC student-athletes from men's basketball, women's basketball, wrestling, softball and baseball vie for placement on the MCAC Spring Elite '18 team. The MCAC Fall '17 Elite team, featuring athletes from football, was announced on January 20 and honors football, volleyball, soccer and golf teams. The release is available at this link.
The list of MCAC Elite student-athletes for Spring 2018, are listed below by college. All team members have earned MCAC All-Academic status following spring semester grades; their individual sport recognition is also listed. To view the fall MCAC All-Academic Award recipients, please click here.
