All-Academic MCAC Student-Athletes Honored

All-Academic MCAC Student-Athletes Honored

Rochester, MN-

As member schools of the Minnesota College Athletic Conference wrap up the 2018-19 academic year and spring athletic seasons, high achieving student-athletes have been honored in the form of MCAC All-Academic recognition.  Based on selections submitted to date from MCAC member colleges, the Spring list includes representatives from each of the MCAC winter and spring sport offerings.  The All-Academic honor roll will be updated as final selections are received from member schools.

The spring semester All-Academic teams are comprised of student athletes from the MCAC Wrestling, Basketball (Men's & Women's), Baseball and Softball ranks. The Fall Semester All-Academic awards, released in February and available at this link, recognized athletes from Volleyball, Football, Soccer (Men's & Women's), Golf and Clay Target teams.

The 2019 Spring MCAC All-Academic team is comprised of student-athletes from over 25 U.S. states and more than ten countries.  Over 225 individuals were named to this prestigious honor and all MCAC member schools have representative who earned placement on the 2018-19 honoree list.

The student-athletes listed below met sport-specific athletic participation requirements and possess a cumulative grade point average at or above the standards as established by the General Assembly of the Minnesota College Athletic Conference.  Between the required athletic component and strong GPA standard, the MCAC All-Academic honor is an example of the balanced excellence championed by the MCAC and the NJCAA Division III philosophy.

The MCAC All-Academic teams are announced twice annually, following the completion of both the fall and spring academic semesters.
