Cold conditions will likely greet Central Lakes College and Itasca Community College as they square off in the 2019 MCAC Football State Championship Game, held at Husky Stadium on the campus of St. Cloud State University on Sunday, November 10th. Kick-off is set for 1:30pm.
The 2019 edition of the football championship will feature one MCAC team currently found in the current national NJCAA Top 20 poll while the other is riding the momentum of back-to-back playoff upset wins.
Itasca Community College is 8-2 overall and in the 'Receving Votes' category of the current NJCAA Top 20 poll; the Vikings are making their first MCAC Championship game appearance since 1998.
Central Lakes College is 5-5 overall and have won two consecutive road contests in the MCAC post-season; the Raiders most recently won the 2016 MCAC Championship game and earned an invitation to the 2016 Red Grange Bowl, hosted annually by the College of DuPage.
