Winona, MN-

Having to win two games in two days on the road, Western Technical College pulled off the upset in 2019-20 NJCAA Region XIIIA Tournament action with a 78-75 win over host Anoka-Ramsey Community College

The Cavaliers - the defending NJCAA Region XIIIA champs - had to do it the hard way in 2019-20, but punched their second-consecutive ticket to the NJCAA post-season. Western Technical defeated Minnesota West yesterday 54-49 in a battle of the #2 & #3 seeds. Last season, WTC dispatched ARCC at home in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Anoka-Ramsey concludes it's season at 19-7 overall; Western Technical College rises to 22-6 on the year.  The Cavaliers will play next in the 2019-20 NJCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship at Rock Valley College in Rockford, Illinois on March 12-14.
