On Monday, May 11, the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) released updated guidelines governing the recruiting restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic on the @NJCAA social media feed.
Dr. Chris Parker, executive director of the NJCAA issued a statement that the national office has, with support of the Board of Regents, lifted the in-person recruiting ban effective later this week. According to the release, the restriction shall be lifted at 11:59 local time on Friday, May 15, for all NJCAA sports.
NCAA in-person recruiting restrictions remain in place until at least May 31; the NCAA COVID-19 resource page is available at this link.
