MCAC Weekly Softball Honors - Week of April 5 - 11

Rochester, MN –

The Minnesota College Athletic Conference has announced its MCAC Softball Pitchers and Players-of-the-Week for the week of April 5 - 11.  In unique fashion, an Anoka-Ramsey Community College softball player secures both the MCAC South Division Softball Pitcher and Player-of-the-Week awards. For the second straight week, Sunny Strait earns the Pitcher-of-the-Week honor following her one outing last week, but also claims the Player-of-the-Week award after hitting two home runs in her 2 at bats.

For the north division, Rainy River standout Jazlyn Arreola also got in the home run action as she helped her Voyageurs create offense with a 3-run shot and earn the MCAC North Player-of-the-Week honor. There were no nominations for MCAC North Pitcher-of-the-Week.
