The Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) has released its weekly soccer awards for the week of September 6-12.  These awards are sponsored by the US Marines. 

Riverland Community College's Lucas Evenson has been named the MCAC Goalkeeper of the Week after his week of 20 saves and earning a shutout win over Dakota County Technical College.  Evenson had 8 saves in the DCTC victory on Wednesday, and then returned to the pitch for a 12 save performance in a tough last minute 3-2 loss to Gustavus Adolphus JV on Sunday. The Austin, MN freshman leads the MCAC in saves with 45, averaging one save every 10 minutes of action.  Evenson has a 2.60 goal against average on the season.

The Blue Devils are now 1-4 on the season, and will return to action on Wednesday as they face conference opponent Anoka-Ramsey at home. 

No other MCAC Soccer athletes were nominated this week.
