215 Student-Athletes to Compete in MCAC Clay Target Championship

215 student-athletes representing 14 colleges throughout Minnesota and North Dakota will be coming together on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in Alexandria, Minnesota to compete in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) Clay Target Championship.  This year's event will be held at the Alexandria Shooting Park in Alexandria, MN. 

The MCAC Clay Target Championship is a collaborative effort between the MCAC and USA Clay Target League, the leading independent provider of clay target shooting sports for secondary and postsecondary schools.

Opening ceremonies will kick off the MCAC Clay Target Championship on October 19 at 9:30 AM, and the competition will begin at 10:00 AM.  Two sessions of shooting will occur, with each participant getting 50 targets in each session to determine their scoring. Awards presentations and closing ceremonies will take place following the conclusion of the two sessions of competition and score tabulation, which should be around 3:30 PM.

Scores and standings from the event will be available at claytargetleaderboard.com.  Hansen's Festival Concessions will be providing lunch for the participants at the event.
