M State and Central Lakes set to compete at NJCAA DIII Volleyball Championship

Rochester, MN -

NJCAA DIII volleyball teams from across the country will ascend on the Rochester Regional Sports Center in Rochester, MN to compete in the 2021 NJCAA DIII Volleyball Championship on November 11-13.  The twelve team bracket is set, and two Minnesota College Athletic Conference volleyball programs will be competing for a national championship.

Minnesota State Community and Technical College - Fergus Falls earned the right to be the #3 seed in the tournament after defeating Rochester Community and Technical College in a very close 5-set match in the Region XIII A championship match.  The Spartans will play at 6:00 pm on Thursday, November 11 on Court 1 of the Rochester Regional Sports Center. Their opponent will be the winner of the match between #6 Butler County (Butler, PA) and #11 Rockland (Suffern, NY), a match which takes place at noon on November 11.

Central Lakes College, making their 17th national tournament appearance, will be the #4 seed in this year's championship tournament.  The Raiders earned their qualifying bid after defeating Northland Community and Technical College 3-0 in the Region XIII B championship match.  The Raiders will play at 6:00 PM on Thursday, November 11 on Court 2 of the Rochester Regional Sports Center; and their opponent will be the winner of the noon match on November 11 between #5 SUNY - Broome (Binghamton, NY) and #12 Brookhaven (Farmers Branch, TX).
