RCTC Wrestling claims MCAC Duals Championship

RCTC Wrestling claims MCAC Duals Championship

After a two week postponement because of COVID cases within Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) wrestling programs, the 2022 MCAC Wrestling Duals were held on Wednesday at Itasca Community College in Grand Rapids, MN.

Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC) claimed the championship in a dominating 43-10 performance over runner-up Itasca Community College

Minnesota West Community and Technical College, Ridgewater College, and Northland Community and Technical College, because of limited rosters, were not in contention for the team duals title; but individual athletes participated in matches throughout the afternoon with wrestlers from the opposing MCAC colleges attending the event.  Full results were not yet available at the time of this release.

The U.S. Marines were in attendance at the MCAC Duals and presented the championship award to the RCTC team. The Marines have been a long-time and valuable partner of the MCAC.
