SCTCC Freshman Libero, Allison Fritz earned MCAC Defensive Player of the Week and later added NJCAA Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts in the Cyclones first weekend back in action since November 2019. Fritz and the Cyclones lost a 5 set match in their season opener against NJCAA D2 Dakota County Technical College. The Cyclones rebounded with a straight set victory over Hibbing CC.

Allison set the Cyclones individual record for digs in a match (37 digs) against DCTC. 

The Cyclones open up MCAC play September 1st when they host Century College at 6:30pm at Whitney Center. The Cyclones then hit the road for the first time when they take on Wester Tech (WI) Friday Night in La Crosse, WI.
