The Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) office has announced the All-MCAC Men's Soccer Team for the 2022 season.
The 15-member All-MCAC team is selected by the men's soccer coaches in the MCAC. These student-athletes are now considered for the All-Region XIII Men's Soccer Team and All-American Team.
Claudy Zau, forward for Anoka-Ramsey Community College, has been selected as the MCAC Player of the Year; and Tom Roos and William "Chato" Alvarado, co-head coaches of Alexandria College, have been named the MCAC Coach of the Year. Zau recently helped his team win the Region 13 championship. In 13 starts this season, Zau has 11 goals and an assist, with 4 of his goals being game-winners. He has scored on nearly 50% of his shots this season. Coach Roos and Coach Alvarado are in their first season with the Legends, which is also the college's inaugural season. They led their team to a 3-7 overall record and 3-5 in MCAC play.
