MCAC Volleyball Athletes of the Week: Week of September 18 - 24

Rochester, MN-

The Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) has released its weekly volleyball awards for the week of September 18-24. 

Kalli Papenfuss, outside hitter for Central Lakes College, earned her second straight MCAC North Division Offensive Athlete-of-the-Week honor, hitting .338 with 31 kills and three service aces in eight sets. Minnesota North College - Rainy River libero, Cyra Polk, averaged 6.47 digs per set through the 15 sets she played last week. Polk totaled 97 digs and had 4 service aces to earn the MCAC North Division Defensive Athlete-of-the-Week

Minnesota State Community and Technical College outside hitter, Kendra Emery, earned the South Division Offensive Athlete-of-the-Week award. Averaging 3.75 kills per set in her eight sets, Emery hit .314 with 21 kills in a win over #1 ranked Century College.  St. Cloud Technical and Community College libero, Kylie Winter, earned the South Division Defensive Athlete of the Week award after digging 49 balls in seven sets, averaging 7.0 digs per set, and serving four aces. Winter currently leads the MCAC in total digs and digs per set.
