The Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) recognized 89 MCAC football student-athletes from the seven participating programs as members of the 2023 All-MCAC Team. These awards were selected by the head football coaches in the MCAC.
The 2023 MCAC Football season saw Rochester Community and Technical College win the regular season championship and take the top seed in the post-season tournament. Rochester is currently ranked #2 nationally and had 16 players earn All-MCAC honors. North Dakota State College of Science, whose only conference loss came at the hands of Rochester, earned the two seed in the tournament. The #3 ranked NDSCS Wildcats placed 14 athletes on the All-MCAC team and look to defend their 2022 MCAC/Region 13 post-season title when they take on Rochester in the 2023 MCAC/Region 13 Football Championship Game at St. Cloud State University on November 5 at 1:00 PM.
Minnesota North College - Mesabi Range, who finished the season as the #3 seed in the post-season tournament, had 13 athletes named to the All-MCAC team. Minnesota State Community & Technical College, who finished 4th in the conference, and Minnesota West Community & Technical College, who finished 7th, each had 12 All-MCAC selections. Central Lakes College (5th place in the MCAC) and Minnesota North College - Vermilion (6th in the MCAC) each named 11 athletes to the All-MCAC Team.
The MCAC Coaches-of-the-Year are Terrence Isaac from Rochester Community & Technical College and Earnest Wilson from Minnesota North College - Vermilion. Isaac led his Yellowjackets team to an MCAC regular season championship, going 5-1 in conference play and 7-2 overall. The Yellowjackets are currently ranked #2 in the nation and will compete as the home team in the MCAC/Region 13 Football Championship Game on Sunday. Wilson took over the Minnesota North College - Vermilion program just days before the start of the season and led his team to the program's first win since 2021. The Norse finished 1-5 in the conference and 1-6 overall.
There will be an All-Region 13 Team and Region 13 Coach of the Year named following the conclusion of the MCAC/Region 13 football playoffs and end-of-season coaches meeting.
