MCAC Soccer Athletes of the Week: Week of August 26 - September 1

The Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) has released its weekly soccer awards for the week of August 26 - September 1. Rochester Community and Technical College swept the three women's soccer awards. Goalkeeper Chloe Mart earned the MCAC Women's Soccer Goalkeeper-of-the-Week award, picking up her first shutout of the season.  Mart had nine saves on 11 shots on goal in the Yellowjackets two wins this week. Defender Izabella Nanoski led RCTC's defensive efforts in two quality wins over DII Dakota County Technical College and North Central University to earn the Defensive Field Athlete-of-the-Week award. Emily Morales, forward for RCTC, earned the week's Offensive Field Athlete-of-the-Week award after scoring four goals on nine shots on goal. She scored a hat trick against DCTC to secure the team's win.

Riverland Community College goalkeeper, Camden Williams, earned the MCAC Men's Soccer Goalkeeper-of-the-Week honor after saving nine shots on goal and only giving up two goals to NJCAA DII foe Madison College. There were no nominations for the Defensive Field Athlete-of-the-Week or the Offensive Field Athlete-of-the-Week awards this week.
