
The 2024 Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) Football playoffs begin Saturday, October 19, with six of the conference's seven teams competing to advance out of the quarterfinal round. All MCAC Football teams will battle it out over the next three weekends to determine the Region 13 Champion. The MCAC/Region 13 championship game is scheduled for November 3 at St. Cloud State University.
North Dakota State College of Science claimed the top seed in the post-season tournament after defeating Rochester Community and Technical College on Saturday, earning the MCAC regular season championship and the #1 seed overall. The Wildcats will have a bye in the quarterfinals. NDSCS is 7-1 overall and 6-0 in the MCAC, and their one loss comes at the hands of the top-ranked team in the nation, College of DuPage. NDSCS is currently ranked #5 in the NJCAA DIII Football poll. They will host the winner of the #4 vs. #5 game on Sunday, October 27.
Rochester Community and Technical College is the #2 seed in the playoffs with their 4-2 record in MCAC play and 4-4 overall. On Saturday, the Yellowjackets will host the 7th-seeded Blue Jays of Minnesota West Community and Technical College, who finished with a 2-5 overall record and 1-5 record in the MCAC.
Minnesota North College - Mesabi Range earned the #3 seed in this year's tournament, posting a 3-3 overall record and 3-3 record in the MCAC. The Norse will host the #6-seeded Central Lakes College Raiders in Saturday's matchup. The Raiders finished the regular season with a 2-4 overall and 2-4 MCAC record.
Minnesota State Community and Technical College picked up the #4 seed with a 3-4 overall record and 3-3 record in the MCAC. The Spartans will host the 5th-seeded Minnesota North College - Vermilion Ironhawks on Saturday, who are 2-4 overall and 2-4 in the MCAC.
All MCAC playoff games are played at the highest-seeded team in the pairing. Game times are at 1:30 PM unless otherwise noted on the teams' schedules.
